Better yet, he actually understands that people these days NEED their computers, so once he figures out what the problem is and orders the parts, he actually lets me take the computer (if operable) so I can continue working while I wait for the parts to come in - then I take it back and he gets it fixed fast. This is so NOT the way most authorized repair places operate...they want you to leave it for days and with Apple you have to ship it back to them...which results in lots of missed work for you... My uncle passed away a few years ago and I found an old box buried in our garage with his camcorder packed neatly away. I discovered a tape was still in the camera but after I ejected the tape the cassette carriage would not reseat back into the camera. I called Tek and they said they would take a look if I brought it down. I took this 20 year old camera to Tek and within 15 minutes they fixed it. I was totally blow away by their level of professionalism, knowledge, and their willingness to help me. I have never experienced customer service like that before in LA.
